Frequently asked questions

How do I play?

Wordo hides a word and shows a blank for each letter. Tap letters to guess. Correct letters fill in; each wrong guess draws another part of the gallows. Reveal the whole word before you run out of guesses.

What do the difficulties change?

Easy, Medium and Hard mainly change how many wrong guesses you're allowed — Hard is the fewest. Pick a category like Animals, Food, Movies or Phrases, or choose Mixed.

What is an "AI topic"?

Type any theme — for example "space" or "90s movies" — and Wordo asks AI to build a fresh set of words with clues in your language. This feature needs an internet connection.

What is a "Smart hint"?

During a round you can ask for an AI hint that's tailored to the current word without revealing it. The built-in clue for each word works offline.

How do I hear the word?

After a round, tap "Hear the word" and the device reads it aloud in the current language using your phone's built-in speech.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings and pick English or Russian. The whole app and the word sets switch instantly, including the on-screen keyboard.

Why is there a daily game limit?

The free version includes a set number of games per day. The counter resets automatically at local midnight — come back tomorrow for more.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Wordo can send reminders via push notifications. You're asked on first launch, and you can change it any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Wordo.

How do I reset my stats?

Settings → "Reset statistics" clears your history, streaks, level and achievements. Deleting the app also removes all local data.

The AI features won't load.

AI topics and Smart hints need an internet connection. Check your connection and try again. Built-in categories still work offline. If it keeps failing, email us.
